Family Update

Well I thought now would be a good time for an update on my family!! A few important things have happened since I last posted a real blog about us! Our offer got accepted on our house and we got to move from Joe's mom's house into a house of our own! Our House is brand new and I love it.... However with a brand new house comes some work to be down! We have an unfinished basement that we need to get done but that will probably be in a year or so.... unfortunatly. We have a yard we need to landscape! We kept waiting for our 8000 dollar tax credit so that we could put a sprinkler system in and get our yard done and now I am afraid it came to late! So we are going to buy blinds for our house and then put it in savings until the spring and get it done then! I keep telling Joe we need to buy a hot tub and a pool for our backyard but i guess we will have to see how much money we have left after we get the yard and the sprinkler system in... but a girl can dream right! Other than moving into our house nothing super big has happened in our life except I started back up in school and applied to the nursing program this semester... I still don't know if I am in yet or not but am hoping to find out within the next few weeks!! Hopefully I will have some good news soon!! That would give me the nice big boost I need to get excited about school again. It seems that I have just fallen back into the same routine of being bored of school and not really caring but if I get in then I can start taking the classes that I know I will need and that will interest me. I am doing really well this semester and have A's in all of my classes but one that one class is Pathophysiology and it is kicking my behind! I am slowly getting my grade up and am optimistic that I will end up with a B at the end of the semester. Cross your fingers! Tyson turned 4 years old and Joe turned 23. I know I can not believe that Tyson is 4, and it is turning out to be just as wild and 3 I just hope Tyson calms down and stops trying to be so independent in ways he shouldn't. Like Tyson has decided that sleep is overrated and has woken up at 4:45 in the morning everyday for the past week...... not so good...... Tyson and Jason share a room and Tyson wants to play with toys so Jason ends up waking up too and then I have two grouchy boys! Tyson has also had very random nightmares lately and does not want to sleep in his own room..... I am afraid that this will never end and am wanting it to end very soon. Jason is 18 mos. now and is getting so big! He has learned where his nose is and his mouth only he is too darn stubborn to tell you where they are. He has talks a little but he won't talk on cue! I have no idea how he got to be this stubborn. Jason is a Daddy's boy through and through however with me working so much he does appreciate his Mommy when I see him.... I wish it was more! Joe is doing his own thing. He recently transferred to the Broadway pizza hut to escape his lieing cheating jerk of a boss and to work with his friends at that store! He misses his old store because it had less dishes to do but he is kind of stuck at this one for a while. Other than that he just plays his computer and XBox he just bought the newest Call of duty game and that is his new passion......... Since I last posted he gave up WoW and is now back to playing it as much as I wish he wasn't! Anyways that is the newest update on my family! Oh and Incase I forgot to mention it I started working at Bingham Memorial Hospital but now am wishing I still worked in IF so I am working on getting back there! Anyways that is it for now!

My new house pics!

So finally I decided to put some pics up of my house with some great nudging from Christy! This first pic is of Tyson and Jason's room it isn't much right now but when Jason gets into a bed we are going decorate and paint it with Sports stuff and I'll post some more pics then! What you don't see is they have a HUGE closet that houses most of their toys the rest are downstairs in the unfinished bathroom!

This is one of my pics of the bathroom it is of the vanity the counter top is called jamoca granite and the cupboards are knotty alder wood in a medium finish!

This next pic is another one of the bathroom it shows the toilet and the tub! We've got it all decorated now and are all unpacked and it feels great!

This pic is of my living room/ hallway area which actually has a coat closet unlike my townhouse so I looooooove that it definately comes in handy! Also in the hall there is a linen closet yay!! More storage I love it!

This one is more of my living room which is bigger than any living room i have ever had I can't wait to get our big TV and nice entertainment center for it! I would also love a living room set but Joe said I can't clutter it up with furniture!

This pic i just realized was taken really crappily and I am sorry it is of the dining area of my kitchen! It was halloween so the house is kinda a mess with trick or treat stuff sorry I just had my camera out and thought it was a good time to take pics!

This pic is of my kitchen I love it! We have a nice HUGE fridge which we had to buy the rest of the appliances came with the house but we found one that matched perfectly! I didn't get a pic of my bedroom or my huge closet because Joe washed our bedding that we just got for Christmas and put it into the dryer needless to say we need a new one because all the padding in be comforter got smushed up together in one blob in the middle and the rest of the comforter has nothing so I'll get a good pick when we aren't sleeping on crappy sheets that don't match!! hahaha! Anyways that is all I have time for now!! More to come later!

So it has been forever since i've updated my blog and a lot has happened i promise i will get on soon and feel you in on everything later this will be a short post with halloween pics. Here you go Christy here are your pics.

Our House!

Well we put in an offer on the Rockwell house and I am happy to report they accepted our offer. So now we will start on closing on the house which will probably take at least 45 days because our loan program is so backed up with everyone buying houses right now. That is ok though because our house will be done at the latest by July 21st and we will be done closing by then so it all will work out. I am super excited at the prospect of being a homeowner and not having to rent anymore. However we are moving in with my mother in law until our house is built to save some money so that should be interesting I hope we both make it out alive without one of us killing the other ; )! We will see right! I also finally got the nerve to check my grades and it worked I got the grade i wanted in Chemistry finally I got an A! Yay! Anatomy and Physiology was another story but I won't let that get me down! I am gonna apply to the nursing program and if I don't get in then. I'll apply somewhere else or wait until I do get in. Hopefully that A will help me. There is a lil update on what is going on with my family.

Well we are going to buy a house now and we got approved for like131,900 and we are going to put a offer in this Rockwell house that is being built and should be done in 30-60 days. Jason's Birthday and Easter

Well my baby turned one on April 9, 2009. It breaks my heart that he is so dang big now. He has started walking and can now say Ty and uh oh. He also can mimic people yawning it is so cute. Jason had 3 parties for his birthday. We celebrated with Joe's family on the Sunday before his birthday we had hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner and did the normal cake for dessert. It was so nice and sunny outside everyone was outside playing. The day before his birthday we celebrated with my family. We went to Leo's Place for dinner so that Tyson could have fun playing since his brother was getting a lot of attention. He is not quite used to that yet since there has never been any other birthday celebration on my side of the family until we celebrated Jason's. Then we went home and did cake and ice cream and opened presents. Jason loved his cake he seemed more interested in making a mess at this party. At Joe's family party he loved the cake but mostly got it in his mouth until he had a little help from aunts. Then we celebrated with our friends on the day after his birthday. I got a cake from Baskin Robbins because I love their cakes, but Jason didn't like the ice cream very much so he wasn't so interested in his cake. I cooked carneasada and seven layer dip. It was so nice outside again and the kids played outside on the slide and played basketball. Tyson and Jason had tonz of fun playing with their friends Burton and Crystal. Jason did pretty good present wise he got a cow bowling ball game, rubber duckies, an activity game toy, a piggy bank toy, a walking/riding toy, a dog toy, keys/cellphone toy and tonz of cute short outfits.

We were kind of disappointed at Joe's mom's because he loved the cake but didn't make much of a mess he got most of it in his mouth although at my mom's house he did a better job making a mess take a look.


These are videos of Jason walking, It took me so long to get these posts up with the end of school and finals that it is kind of out of date this was on his birthday and he is walking much better now so I will try to get a new video up of him walking.The saturday after Jason's birthday was the annual Z103 easter egg hunt at Tauphaus Park. Kayleen and I took the kids and they had a lot of fun. There were so many kids there and Burton and Tyson only got about 3 eggs but they had fun doing it. Saturday night we went to Joe's mom's house and had spaghetti for dinner and dyed easter eggs. Easter was the sunday after Jason's birthday we celebrated it by going over to my mom's house. We didn't stay for very long because my mom and dad weren't feeling well. We went over to Joe's mom's house afterwards and had dinner and did an easter egg hunt. Tammy cooked a turkey and ham along with rolls so that we could make sandwiches. There were tons of food everyone brought the usual sides it was delicious. Jason and Tyson made a haul in the easter egg hunt they got loads of candy and $4.42 in change. Their lottery tickets were duds and they didn't win anything from them.

Twilight!

I am super excited tonight at midnight they are releasing Twilight!!! I am so pumped about this release I am going to go at midnight and pick it up! My Fav. sis. in law was going to come with me but her chillins are not feeling so well! I feel super bad that she couldn't come but the kids come first Always! It totally should be that way! I hope her chillins get feeling better so we can hang out and watch this incredible movie and look at Robert Pattinson because he is so Hott!! Anyways I am stoked about this movie release so I had to blog about it! : )

It is finally over!

Well I am so glad I can relax a little bit and not focus only on school for a little while! All of my tests and assignments are turned in and spring break is coming up! So I can breathe easily for a while and focus on work, my kids and cleaning up my disaster of a house. I know I did well on my Midterm in Chemistry and I just took my other tests so we will have to see how I did on those but for now I can live my life with a little less stress. Tonight I am going to cook chicken fajitas for my mom because her birthday was yesterday and I couldn't celebrate with her then! I tried to bake a cake and when i tried to get it out of the pan to decorate it it fell apart. I don't know what I did wrong? It is frustrating so I put the crumpled up pieces into the pan and try to decorate it. I guess it will taste the same no matter if it is crumpled up or not right? Anyways thought I would give a little update! I am so tired today because I was up all night studying for my Anatomy and Physiology test I am so glad that is done with : )!

School Work...........

I am getting to the point where I am absolutely sick of school and I just want to quit! I know that would not benefit me in the long run but I am so stressed out this week and it sucks big time. It is midterm time and I have a midterm in my Chemistry class tomorrow so I am studying hard for that so hard I feel like my brain is going to explode. Then on Friday I have our Chapter 5 homework due in Chemistry. So I have to try to study the old material and complete the homework on the new material. On Monday I have a test in Anatomy and Physiology so not only do I have to study chemistry and do homework I also have to study anatomy and physiology. Did I also mention that I have a lab quiz on Friday where I have to memorize all of the arteries and veins in the body. To top it all off on Monday I also am being quizzed on Chapter 5 in Chemistry. I don't understand why teachers give you all of this work to do at one time. I mean can't they space it out a little. Like I understand having midterms and studying for those but why can't we wait to start Chapter 5 until after our midterms and this week postpone the quiz in Lab so that we can focus on what is really important. I am just stressed out and needed to vent a little bit on how much school sucks. Thanks for listening. I can't wait for summer break where I can just work and be a mommy and not have to worry about tests or homework or anything else but work and having fun with my kids. This is the time in my life where my house is a complete disaster and everything else gets pushed aside so that I can focus on all of my other obligations. I can't wait for it to be over!

The Bachelor!

Okay! I just need to vent! I don't know I just get really into the shows that I watch and I am floored at how the Bachelor ended this season! First Jason picked Melissa the girl that I wanted from the first episode and then he just dumps her on national television and picks the other girl! Something is definitely wrong with that picture. I can't believe that it happened! I am just disappointed in this show can it not come out the way that it should first that jerk Brad ditches DeAnna and then she picks Jesse over Jason then Jason chooses right and dumps her for Molly! Ugh anyways venting is over! I just can't believe it! Anyways now I can get over it and move on. I just feel bad for Melissa the girl Jason dumped on National television of all the places to dump someone! Crappy! Crappy! Crappy!

Well I decided to post some pictures of our new car so that everyone can see it! It is pretty sweet! I just wish I could drive it instead of Joe but that will probably never happen. If only he knew that the girls are the ones who are supposed to drive the sweet cars! He just doesn't get it! hahahaha! Well anyways these pics are kind of cool so enjoy!

This is a video of Jason saying Momma for the first time. It started out with him emptying out all of Joe's video games from the T.V. stand and then he picked up Tyson's sippy cup and was trying to drink out of it. He was doing it very discretely like he thought he would get caught so I took out the camera and started to video tape him. He crawled away and I started to try to get him to say Momma he said it Mom at first but then he said Momma! He is growing up so much!


This is a cute video of Tyson and Burton on Sunday night when they came over for dinner this is before we turned on the video for them! They wanted to watch Madagascar and this was how they celebrated by singing the I like to move it move it song! They are so cute and they were way tired!
This is a picture of Tyson at the end of the night passed out on the couch. He was so tired I can't even explain he kept asking for things to keep him awake and trying to get off the couch! Burton never did fall alseep even though he was way tired!

Family Fun, Trips and More.....

We have had an interesting and busy few weeks as a family. We have endured the usual work and school routine. Then Presidents day weekend came up and we got a little break from the usual and the boys and I went to Spokane with my dad to visit my grandparents. We had a really fun trip it was a long drive for the kids but we drove up on Friday night so they slept most of the way after dinner at Mcdonalds. Seeing my grandparents was really nice it had been a while since I had seen a lot of my family up there. It wasn't a very long weekend but nice just the same. My Grandma tried to take us of us so much she wanted to cook for us all the time, but we wanted her to just sit and relax and visit. It is hard to see my Grandma working so hard trying to take care of herself and my Grandpa. It was very hard to see him. He is not doing as well as I want him to be and every visit he gets worse and worse. It breaks my heart to see my strong willed Grandpa deteriorate like that and not know what the cause is. On a lighter note, the first day we were in Spokane was my Aunt Pam and Uncle Joe's 28 year wedding anniversary. I never knew that they got married on Valentines day. They went to dinner and the whole family came over to visit. It was so nice to see their family I got to see my cousin Justin whom I haven't seen in 5 years or so. We actually got the whole Joe Gottlob family together for the first time in a while and so we had to capture it with a picture. They also got to meet Jason for the first time ever. We also took a picture of them together.We also got a picture of the anniversary couple together.
My grandma bought Valentines day cupcakes that were very festive for us to have for dessert. I got a picture of my cousin Timmy chilling in the chair drinking a pepsi before he decided he wanted a cupcake. The cupcakes had little plastic chocolates on them and the square chocolates kept all the frosting in the topper so their was none on the cupcake. I got a square cupcake and Timmy got a circle one he didn't hesitate to laugh at me trying to get the frosting out of my cupcake. It was a fun Valentines day even though I didn't spend it with Joe at least I was with family before we left Joe bought me my present. It was a pink sapphire heart ring with diamonds and it is gorgeous if I do say so my self. We also got to see my aunt lisa off and on all weekend on Valentines day we went to Barnes and Noble to get a book with my cousin Leeanne and Tyson worked his charm on my aunt and she bought him a Lenny from the Wonder Pets toy and Jason a monkey with a Five little monkeys jumping on the bed book. Then the next day she came over and we watched my cousin in a musical where she sang a solo musical number that rocked. She has an amazing voice and it was so good. That same day I got to go to her house after I put the kids to sleep so that I could see my Uncle Gary whom I haven't seen in like 7 years. It was really nice to see him and catch up with my cousins Leeanne and Cameron and Aunt and Uncle Lisa and Gary. I got some good advice on how to deal with my family issues with my mother in law and such. We left for home on monday and headed for another long trip. The kids did really well considering. We stopped for lunch and got a little bit of a break. The boys were really tired but wouldn't fall asleep so we stopped in Deer Lodge at this National monument Farm. It was really fun for Tyson to get to look at all of the animals and lasso the wooden bull they had their. The ranger let us help bring the chickens into their coop when it was closing time. Tyson was the best at it and he helped get them all in, and he also got to help look for the eggs that the chickens laid. Once we got back in the car the kids did settle down and we had a good drive. Once we got back to the reality of school and work, life seemed somewhat normal. I trained in Labor and Delivery on Wednesday and then we planned on going to Salt Lake that evening to purchase a car after work and school. What we didn't know was the guy who traded that car in hadn't paid for the car he was buying so we didn't end up going. We did stay at Joe's Mom's and had dinner until Jason threw up. I ended up staying home from work on Thursday because he just wasn't feeling well. On Friday I spent a mellow evening at home with the kids and Joe came home looking on the internet for cars and found some 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX's that he wanted to go look at. So we planned on driving to Salt Lake on Saturday. Lined up my mom to watch the kids and set off in with the hope to make it back in time for Joe to go to work at 6:30. That didn't happen. We got on the road at about 9 am and took off for Salt lake we made good time in about 3 hours and looked on the lot. We found the car that we wanted test drove it and tried to talk them down to what we could afford but they wouldn't budge on that car. They did however have another 2007 that had instead of 21000 miles had 32000 miles and a little bit less of the gizmo's that the other one had on it. We looked at it, drove it , and loved it. So we bought it. Sounds like it happened fast oh no we were waiting at this dealership for over 4 hours before we left. Joe ended up calling his work and telling him we were stuck at this dealership in Salt Lake we didn't want to let this good deal pass us by. We ended up get this car for 17,000 dollars when it booked out at 19,900 dollars. We got back into town and Joe wanted to show off his new baby he is so proud of it. The next day (Last night) we had Buddy, Kayleen, Burton, and Madilyn over for dinner and to watch the Oscars and play games. We were going to go on a double date with them but Kayleen and I didn't want to bug our parents to watch our kids so we made it a family affair. Kayleen cooked these magnificent chicken rollup stuff with twice baked potatoes and green salad. We played Cranium after the Oscars were over and the kids watched movies. Cranium is super fun, I had never played it before but we had a blast. First we played married couple vs. Married couple and it looked like Buddy and Kayleen were going to win but in the last second we stole the victory from them. In the performance category one of the cards made you act like a celebrity and Joe got Clint Eastwood by me saying I am old and in Action movies. After we did the married couple challenge we played boys vs girls and Joe and Buddy kicked our trash. I didn't know that anyone could get beaten at a game that bad. Needless to say we are going to rematch soon. We had so much fun and stayed up way to late. The weekend was over and now it is back to work and school darnit. Can't wait for next weekend.

In this video I got Jason to say No! He is very good at it and no likes to say it all of the time! It does get old when I want him to stop doing something and he says No no, but it is way cute nonetheless so enjoy it!

Taxes and More!

So I just filed my taxes which I did all by myself this year and I am super proud of myself! Well ok I uses the Free Turbo Tax edition online so I did have a little help from them but who doesn't now a days! Anywhoo I didn't have help from my Mom except for one question and that is all! When I was finished I found out we are getting an awesome refund this year! We are getting like 6,850 dollars in Federal and 330 dollars in Idaho state taxes. We get to pay off our Maxima and Joe is gonna get a new car! I am super excited to have the Maxima paid off so that we can sell it and get more money when I graduate so that I can get my Mazda 6 woohoo! Anyways that is my exciting bit of news! I also had a bit of an accident today when I was doing the dishes! Joe bought these new knives and they are super sharp! We have to hand wash them and I was washing the dishes that didn't fit in the dishwasher and as I washed the knife it slid across my right pointer finger and sliced off a nice layer of skin! It bled a ton and I had to sit and hold pressure on it for like 20 minutes but it is all good now except it hurts a ton but I made it through! I will be more careful when I am washing knives from now on. Tonight was a lot of fun regardless of you injury we had Buddy and Kayleen over with their two little ones and had Taco Salads for dinner. After dinner Katie fed Madilyn and Buddy played X box while Joe played computer and I did my taxes. Tyson and Burton were a bunch of lil maniacs but they had a blast playing with each other if they could only learn to share! I guess it is their ages but I sure hope Tyson grows out of that!

This is a video of Tyson and Jason at my Mom's house on Christmas Day opening presents! They were so cute on Christmas especially Tyson! I finally realized what a big kid he is now! Especially when he peeked in a present that happened to be clothes and threw it aside because he doesn't like clothes and then refused to open it because it wasn't toys! Sorry it took me so long to post and I have a few more videos of Jason to post! He is getting so big and is doing so much stuff now and I have all of his new accomplishments on tape so you all can see them!

Wow....... Christmas break is almost over!

Well Christmas break is almost over and I can't believe it has gone by this fast. Our family had a really great Christmas Tyson and Jason got so many clothes and toys I had to completely clean out their toy room and the only toys they have in there right now are the ones that they got for Christmas and Tyson's birthday. Tyson got everything he asked for from his Lightening Mcqueen bike and helmet from Santa to his Handy Manny tools. Jason got many toys and a lot of needed clothes so that was excellent. We have had a very exciting Christmas break. Joe and I were looking into buying a house while the interest rates were low and so are the housing prices. However when we went and saw the mortgage guy my credit score was 2 points under what they needed to get a grant that they would pay our down payment and they considered my student loans as debt I have to pay right now even though it is deferred until I graduate so that lowered the price of a home we could get. Joe and I decided that it wasn't worth it at this point in time and we are happy where we are so we will buy a house when I graduate and it will be more worth it because we will get a way better house then. Jason is getting super big now and I can't believe he is nine months old now. He has a tooth cutting through now which is excellent because he has been teething for the past 6 months or so with no progress so I am glad he has something to show for it now!! Jason can also say bye bye, he says no by shaking his head and he can give high fives now. He is crawling all over the place and pulling up to the furniture and walking along it. He can stand for a few seconds at a time all by himself and I know that he wants to start crawling but he just isn't big enough yet. Tyson is a spitfire he knows what he wants when he wants it and he is quite trying at times on my patience. He is also too smart for his own good. He is super excited to start back at school and see his friends. He is only going to school one day a week because my other classes are in Idaho Falls. I started working in Peds and I love it plus the extra money I get from working more! I have been working Monday-Thursday and I hope that I can continue that all semester so that I can have some extra spending money to use the hang out with my friends or something! That is all that is new with us! I want to get the videos from christmas along with some pictures of all the new things Jason is doing so keep looking for those!
